Door-to-Door Canvassing GOTV Script

During the get-out-the-vote (GOTV) stage of your campaign, the goal of canvassing is to remind supporters to vote — not to persuade new voters to join your cause. This canvassing script will help keep volunteers on track during the final days of your campaign.

Download the template, fill in the blanks with details about your election, and customize the script as needed. You and your volunteers can also use this script to practice what they’ll say before going canvassing during the GOTV push.
